I fell asleep one night.
I fell deep unto my dream,
in a place absent of time.
When your heart was free and your spirit was kind.
Serenity and peace set you apart.
I became frozen in a place in time, absent of meaning, transparent hearts of plastic that gave me the ability to see truth but not feel it.
Frightened, I screamed!
I awoke, only to find a mirrored reflection of someone I used to know.
Dreams, what do they mean…
A day by the sea…
Just the two of us…
On the streets of Portland
Only in Portland…
It’s an extraordinary day to be alive…
We must have faith which brings us hope…
We must continue look up, for HE is coming soon…
My only desire is to be with you Father…
I don’t feel comfortable in this world anymore…
And I miss my mom…
Today, seems further away than yesterday.
Home is where your heart lives…
It’s a colorful world, and safe but only from the inside looking out…
And a moment of time captured forever…
Is unusual…

Just returned from a month visit from Portland Oregon where my kids and grandkids reside. It was a good reminder of what I love and miss the most. Family and Portland. We are moving back soon. Home is where the heart is and my heart lives in Portland.

On my way home yesterday I noticed the landscape was filled with the warmth and colors of spring. The entire desert seemed to be decorated over night by the hand of God. What a lovely sight.
I was compelled to pull off the highway to snap some shots.
